Conference Information
The KEMSA “Last Blast of Summer” Conference is the premier educational event of the year for EMS personnel. It provides attendees with extensive amounts of continuing education hours, social and entertainment events, networking, and much more! The conference includes a pre-conference day on Thursday to allow for more CE hours and hands-on learning. The main conference days are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 12:30 pm. Regular conference days include general sessions, breakout sessions, and EM2S sessions.

Call for Presentations
The deadline to submit proposals is February 1, 2012. All proposals will be reviewed by KEMSA’s Conference Committee. They will be evaluated by the following guidelines:
- Practical application of material;
- Relevance to EMS in Kansas;
- Timely or innovative topic;
- Clearly identified objectives;
- Overall quality & well-defined focus;
- Availability; and
- Type of Session.
Proposals that are not complete will not be considered. Notifications will be sent out after the review process has been completed. |
